It started with Buddy.

A best friend.
A reason to build.

Meet the idea behind Buddy Wheels

When Buddy stopped using his hind legs, we started looking for support. But Buddy is a very large dog, and suitable sizes were hard to find. Cost was another barrier.

Buddy Wheels began with both needs: a better fit for bigger dogs and a more affordable, repairable design. Printable connections, standard parts, and the testing every size deserves.

We have not established a diagnosis or a safe fit for Buddy. Veterinary care comes first.

Good questions.
Clear answers.

A little clarity before the next step.

Can I order one for my dog today?

No. We are developing the product and do not accept orders, deposits or reservations. If your dog needs support now, ask a vet or rehabilitation professional about an available, fitted chair.

Is the whole wheelchair 3D printed?

The proposed design combines printable connectors and fitting parts with standard metal rails, wheels, axles and washable harnesses. Load-bearing printed parts still need testing.

Will it work for every dog?

No chair suits every dog. Our planned range spans 2-180 lb, but suitability depends on body measurements, front-leg strength, diagnosis and professional assessment.

How does the half-price target work?

Our S, M, L and XL target prices are 50% of the corresponding Walkin' Pets listed frame prices checked November 7, 2026. Delivery, tax, fit service and product differences affect the final comparison. XS has no verified comparison.
